Dear Pastor and prayer friends,

The Harvest Baptist Church that we planted in Clayton, New Mexico is doing very well under
the able leadership of pastor Dennis Guffy.   The 4 men in the church are actively involved in
getting out the gospel and are a true blessing to their pastor as are the ladies in the church.   Yes,
they are having people saved and baptized.   One man we and been dealing with and had requested
prayer for, Dan Lettis, was recently saved and baptized.   Praise the Lord!   There was also an
elderly lady who needed to be saved and now is and will be baptized at the Clayton lake due to
her handicap.

There has been a good deal of prayer and effort put into the prison ministry lately which has
resulted in 12 men trusting Christ for salvation.   One young man spoke with me after a Sunday
afternoon service about his need to be saved.   Here is how Ray approached me: immediately after
the service he walked up to me saying, preacher my life is miserable and no good would you tell
me how Jesus can change me.   He told me he had prayed to be saved many times but had never
changed, as he would fall right back into sinful living in a short time.   Ray was trying to escape
Hell and go to Heaven but now he said he realized sin was the problem and he knew Jesus alone
could cleanse him from sin.   Ray has trusted CHRIST for salvation!

Planting churches in Phoenix is on hold until the Lord gives me clear direction.   While need is
great we cannot go before Christ.   Therefore, we are in prayer about starting a church in some of
the rural towns nearby.   In the mean time we are scheduled to preach a 2 week revival in Ft.
Stockton, Texas.   Then too, we are praying the Lord will open the door to us for a 3 day meeting
at the prison here in Dalhart.

As you can see God is giving fruit to your account.   Thank you for praying with us and for your
faithful support as we labor for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

All for Jesus!

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.   Mat. 9:38
