Dear Pastor and prayer friends,

Once again thank you for your patience as we settle in at our house in Texas.   Now for the latest news:

  • Our house in Colton, SD has sold.   [...]

  • The same day we left for South Dakota for the signing of the closing papers my Texas driver license came in which is my key into the prison.

  • I am now in the prison regularly getting acquainted with people and surroundings.   This work will be a lot different than in South Dakota, as the staff is very open to me, and I have been asked to spend time with the staff as well as the inmates.   What an answer to prayer!   Yes, I have had a great reception into the prison.

  • Scott is in the first grade and is loving school.   He actually is doing quite well in spite of my genes.

  • Margaret is giving her time to the church as a volunteer secretary and seems to be very pleased to be in Texas.   I know she is having a hard time fitting her things into a much smaller house but she never complains.

  • We have had good times on visitation and I am going to be going to some small communities to preach the gospel as well.   I am very grateful that God has opened so many doors for us to give the gospel out.

    All for Jesus!

    Steven S. Ragland, D.D.
