      (Proverbs 6:16-17) 
       16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination 
      unto him: 
       17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 
[This one thing doth the LORD hate: yea, one is an abomination unto him: A 
proud look.] 

      Proverbs 10:1 
       1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a 
      foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

      Proverbs 11:2 
       2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

      Proverbs 13:10 
       10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is

      Proverbs 14:3
