II. THE CONCEPTION OF JOHN THE BAPTIST (5-25)

  A. Gabriel Visits With Zacharias, A Priest

     1. God Named him.

     2. John Was To Be Born Of A "barren" Womb (7).

  B. John Would Be:

     1. "great in the sight of the Lord[.]" (15)

     2. Separate From "wine" And "strong drink;"

     3. "filled with the Holy Ghost from, even from his mother's womb."

     4. His Mission Was To Be The Forerunner Of Christ.
