General Epistles This course will consist of a study of the Books of James through Jude. These
church Epistles (the entire New Testament is a church Epistle) will be studied in the
following format:
The Book of James: Seven class periods
I & II Peter: Seven class periods
I John: Six class periods
II & III John: One class period
Jude: Eight class periods
There will be three tests days: 1. James, I & II Peter
2. I, II, III John
3. JudeClass Requirements
You are required to read all of the above named books during the semester. You
are also required to outline each book chapter by chapter. These outlines are due
on the last day that the book is studied. Example: James is due on the seventh class
period day of the semester. Failure to turn in an outline on the class date merits a
(0) zero grade. The only excuse is death, Rapture or sickness. Admittance to class
after sickness is permitted when the student has a doctor's verification of the
sickness in writing. The Book of Jude will be studied in depth because this book speaks of the last day
apostasy. There are several good books on Jude in the D.B.B.I. libray. It is
suggested that students read some of these writings in order to better understand the
great apostasy of the last days.If this is too much to do in this class: remember there are no locks on the door.
However you will be missed so leave quietly. We do love you.Notes:
