U CAN BEE SURE

YOU CAN BE SURE OF HEAVEN BEFORE YOU DIE 1 John 5:13 - "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life [Heaven], and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." WHAT MUST YOU KNOW TO GO TO HEAVEN?? (Romans 10:9) 1. Jesus Christ is the Son of God.                  (DEITY - HIS PERSON)     "That if thou shalt confess with thy     mouth the Lord Jesus," ... 2. His substitutionary death, burial and     resurrection (HIS FINISHED WORK     ON THE CROSS).   Christ died for     your sins on the Cross.     ... "and shalt believe in thine heart that     God hath raised him from the dead," ... 3. Result of believing in the PERSON     and WORK OF CHRIST -     (ETERNAL LIFE - HEAVEN)     ... "Thou shalt be saved."

WHAT MUST YOU DO TO GO TO HEAVEN?? (Acts 20:21) When you really believe the GOSPEL (deity of Christ, & His substitutionary Death, burial and resurrection) you will realize your sinful condition, repent of your sins and trust in Christ as your Personal Saviour. 1. YOU MUST BELIEVE that you are a     sinner on your way to Hell.     "For all have sinned and come short of     the glory of God."   Romans 3:23     "The wicked shall be turned into Hell,     and all the nations that forget God"                                Psalm 9:17 2. YOU MUST REPENT of your sins.     Repentance means to have a Godly     sorrow for your sinful condition that     causes you to turn your back on your     old sinful way of life, and turn to God,     so that you have the power to live a     Godly life.     "...except ye repent, ye shall likewise     perish."   Luke 13:3,5 3. YOU MUST REALIZE that salvation     is a gift of God.   As you know, a gift     is absolutely free.   This means you     cannot get to Heaven by your good     works, church membership, reform-     ing your life, or baptism.   You must     either accept or reject God's gift of     salvation.

- "but the gift of God is eternal life    [Heaven] through Jesus Christ our    Lord."                       Romans 6:23    - "For by GRACE are you saved    through faith: and that not of    yourselves: it is the gift of God:    NOT OF WORKS [human], lest any    man should boast."   Eph. 2:8,9 4. YOU MUST BELIEVE on the Lord     Jesus Christ as your own Personal     Saviour.   This means that you believe     what the Bible says about Jesus Christ.     He is the Son of God, and He is your     substitute in His death, burial, and     resurrection.   He has paid the penalty     [Hell] for all your sins.   (Romans 5:8     "Christ died for us.")     Believing is not just a mental     belief on Him.   (James 2:19) EXAMPLE- A circus man walked on a tightrope across Niagara Falls.   After complet- ing the walk, he asked how many people believed he could do it again.   Everyone cheered.   He asked for a volunteer to get on his shoulders to go across with him.   Only one young man would put trust or commit his life totally to the circus man.   Bible Belief or faith causes a person to act on what he believes about Christ and salvation by accepting Christ as his personal Saviour. "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that who-soever [YOU] believeth in Him [CHRIST] should not parish but have everlasting life [Heaven]."   John 3:16

YOU MUST ACCEPT God's gift of salvation through prayer.   If you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, the Bible says you will go to Hell and pay the penalty for your sins.   Where you spend eternity depends on what you do with Christ.   You must either ACCEPT or REJECT Him. "For whosoever [YOU] shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."                                    Romans 10:13 If you want to ACCEPT CHRIST NOW, bow your head and pray.   Confess to God that you are a sinner, and ask Him to forgive you of all your sins.   Jesus Christ is faithful and just.   He will forgive you if you BELIEVE and MEAN (be sincere) what you are praying, the Bible says that you are saved as soon as you have prayed.
