Dear
Pastor and Church,
Greetings
in the name of our wonderful Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ!
I
am happy to report that we've traveled over
3,000 safe and incident free miles since
we have left our home church just over a
month ago and are on deputation trail full-time.
We appreciate your prayers for safety as
we will be traveling thousands of miles
over the next few months.
Since
our last update, we have been in churches
in California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois,
and Indiana. We have been on deputation
for three months and been in a total of
19 churches. Currently we are at 37% support.
Four more churches have taken us on for
support but at the writing of this letter
I don't know how much they have decided
to support us. Four more churches have expressed
interest in supporting us as well. A man
in our home church is putting together a
web page for us. Soon, for those who have
access to the internet will be able to track
our deputation progress. You will also be
able to find many facts about the country
of Thailand as well as a general information
about how we plan to plant indigenous Baptist
churches in Thailand.
My
wife and I appreciate all the kindness the
churches that we have presented the work
to have been to us. It is hard for me to
put into words the encouragement and sweet
kindred spirit we have experienced. Deputation
has taught me many things, but I would have
to say that experiencing God's grace in
many situations has given me a deeper understanding
and appreciation of the Grace of God.
Prayer
Requests:
- Safe travel
- Health
- I've contracted a virus that has affected
my lungs and throat for over 2 weeks Needless
to say if I can't speak, I can't present
the ministry.
- Lord to
give us open doors to present the gospel
as we travel the nation's highways
- Provision
of our financial support.
- Grace to
learn Thai via the internet.
